Here's how to play:
The first part of the game enables you to enter a profile that indicates how well you think you tend to practice five key values -judgement, compassion, integrity, independence, and self-esteem. These scores will be kept in memory as a benchmark, to be used in step three, below.
The interactive quiz presents a number of scenarios in which you have an ethical decision to make. These situations are intended to relate to real-world situations that you might actually find yourself facing in any given day.
At the end of the game, your scores on the quiz are compared to the ratings you gave yourself at the very beginning, so that you can see the way that the choices you make in everyday life compare to the values you claim to practice. You may to be surprised to discover that you are exactly the person you claim to be - or you may find that there are areas in which your behavior is out of line with your values.
As an optional step, consider taking this quiz again, at least one more time. Your scores may differ depending on the exact situations you are prevented. More importantly, if you give serious consideration to the way your actions relate to your values, this game can serve as an aid to self-improvement, and you can see your scores - and your character - gradually improve over a period of time.
