Need Help?

Here are some hints, clues, and instructions to help you along. Scroll to the very bottom for a button that will take you back to the game.

Step One: Providing Your Profile

To provide your profile, select one rating in each row - for example, for "I am independent", select the button below "rarely," "sometimes," "often," "usually," or "always."

Finally, indicate your gender - boy or girl - and click "continue."

Step Two: Taking the Quiz

To take the quiz, read over each scenario and the two options provided. Click the "choose this option" button to select a reaction. The option you select could be the one that you would choose if the situation were real ... or maybe it's the one you thing that you should choose in that situation. It can be fun to play the game both ways to see how your scores differ.

As a note, there is no hard-and-fast limit to the number of questions you will need to answer - it will be "just enough" for the program to make an assessment. Also, the questions are drawn in random order, so you may get different ones each time you play.

Step Three: Interpreting Your Score

Your scores are displayed as bar graphs that compare the way you rated yourself in step one to the way that the options you chose in step two demonstrate these same qualities of character.

It's not unusual for there to be some difference between your profiles, but if something is way off, it may be an indication that you need to reconsider whether you are truly living up to the values you feel are important.

Other Questions

How long does this game take to complete?
Since there are no fixed number of questions, there's no fixed answer. Also, since people read and make decisions at various speeds, it's really not possible to give a perfectly accurate estimate, but we expect it will take half an hour to an hour for most players.
Can I save my answers and come back later?
That capability is not provided (it would take up a lot of Web server space). Also, your score may reflect your state of mind at the time you were taking the test - so it's important to take it at one sitting so that you can consider how you were thinking and feeling during the test.
