To whom it may concern:

I am a first-grade teacher with a class of 18 children. Half of my students come from low socioeconomic, single-parent homes. Half also have learning problems or Attention Deficit Disorder. The Learning for Life program helps my students deal with everyday life problems through nonviolent ways. The lessons are very thorough and hold the students' attention well. I like them because the lessons allow the students to place themselves in role-playing situations to solve problems. The topics are of high interest and are age appropriate.

Learning for Life is an excellent supplement to the social studies curriculum. I have been using the program for two years now. I want to continue to use it. My students have gained valuable life lessons that will carry them throughout life. They come away knowing how to solve problems non-aggressively, Each school should have Learning for Life as part of its curriculum.

Sincerely,

Marcia Ottie
