Learning for Life was officially incorporated in Washington, DC in 1991 and introduced at the Top Hands meeting that year. Since then, Learning for Life has served over 10 million students.
"Celebrate Character: Learning for Life Family Program" is a CD-ROM that has been distributed to local Learning for Life offices. It contains files for a printable brochure in both English and Spanish.
The program will offer a guide to families to discover nine components of character. Those component are:

Local Learning for Life operations can utilize the program in a number of ways. Material can be distributed to existing Learning for Life groups to use as extended home activities of the class room experiences with the character trait. Community wide distribution can also be a service provided to facilitate the development of character by families.
A certificate is available for recognition of participation in Celebrate Character.
