Learning For Life’s K-6 Substance Abuse Prevention Program employs grade-specific curricula that make it easy for educators to teach substance abuse prevention. Learning how different substances affect their bodies, students are taught to practice healthy habits and only take medicines prescribed to them or given to them by their parents.
The Program engages students to understand the reasons behind substance abuse, provides strategies to prevent it, and discusses the consequences of substance abuse.
